I might add as a caveat that I am dropping any clients that expect a full in 48 hours anymore.  With having to go into RODs by appointment and also the increased amounts of orders from clients whose regular abstractors have quit or stopped doing title entirely out of fear or anxiety, it is not possible.  I have a few wonderful clients that have not bugged me even though I have files that are late.  I apologize but that is just it - it is taking twice as long to get everything, compounded with the fact that our kids and/or grandkids are at home (I only have kids) and we are home schooling.  Also donning masks and gloves and hazmat suits to go out and having to call in advance.  

 

All my high-pressure clients are pretty much not going to hear from me until this is over. 

 I cannot handle the stress.  To all the ones who ask nicely and really really understand the risks we are taking, I appreciate you so much.  You are the salt of the Earth.
