Hey Kevin,

I think I made it to every Mardis Gras from the time I 6 or 7 years old up to 15 or 16 with my parents.
And then from the 17 to 30 off and own. Lots of fun. There's a huge difference between
the Mardi Gras parades on Canal Street from the Mardis Gras Gone Wild on Bourbon!
"Throw me something Mr." has a whole different meaning on Bourbon. I haven't actually been to
Mardis Gras in abt 15 years--way to crowded.

I do hope to make it to the Jazz Fest at the Fair Grounds this year. That is really a great time. And
I suspect that it will be much less crowded this year and more like the Jazz Fests of the past.

Its the last weekend of April and into the begining of May.

And a great time. I just can't figure where all the people will stay. A large majority of the
hotels and motels ares are still closed.
