I was thinking of you when I saw this. It's not the first one I've seen here, just kind of rare in CT. I was telling the clerk about the problems in TX and other states, frankly she was appauled. At least these records are not available through other mediums as of yet. Funny though, about 65% of the towns in CT have switched over to Cott Systems Resolution. From what I understand, Cott has come in and offered deals that the towns can't turn down(ecspecially the small towns with limited budgets, they have almost away the system for free, which makes me suspicous.) This has all happened in the last year or so.It will be interesting to see where it goes. I know you can access some of the indexes through Cotts' website, but so far no document images, although they have imaged most all of these towns records.
I know if this was my info hanging out in the public domain, I'd be pissed!
