No need to embellish on my claim that American labor is more expensive. I don't mean that American Labor is "outrageous" as you put it, it is just a matter of fact, more expensive.
With that being said, I agree outsourcing your abstracting to an Indian is borderline ridiculous. However outsourcing your exam to a local abstractor is fine, but when the abstractor is undercutting everyone so much, they tend to take shortcuts. They tend to base their evidence on the index instead of doing an honest to god abstract and pull the document. Furthermore I apologize for not being clear enough in my earlier posts, I do not advocate anything as cheaper is better. I'm advocating what my company does. We produce policies, just policies. We do it cheaper and faster than any title company can.
As far as my indictment of the American Labor market, sadly unless I see a dramatic change in quality and dedication I will hold fast on my belief. Now as far as your belief I am using the labor ethic arguement to rationalize cheap labor, I'm very sorry but you are in err, Sir.
