Donna: I will be glad to forward you the info on RESPA rules, they are quite clear that anything other than fees paid to the abstractor or title search is in violation as far as lines 1102 & 1103 on the HUD-unless another company is also providing "core title work"- which I would venture to say doesn't occur at all. There are plenty of lines there for "graft" if they so choose. You are most correct, we don't get to see the HUD's but all it takes is one and you have the formula for that company-!
Please let me know what format you prefer when I e-mail the HUD info on this. ie-tiff, pdf, etc
