You might be correct, but RESPA is there to protect against illegal activity with regards to what we do- I have contacted HUD and they confirmed what I said in the last post- It is illegal- no question, and that is what they are going after now- big time- it is something we all need to at least have knowledge of so we are not caught up in the scam too. Just keep your distance from them. I think there are lot of us that are being worked over the same way, at least from all the posts on SOT that indiacte some one or some company is asking us to cut our fees or won't pay "that much" for an search.  We all work hard for what we do, and to know those that do nothing reap 6-10 times what we get- just isn't right.
