No. It is certainly not good for customers. I actually witnessed a few closings for several large companies. They sent the paperwork to the customers, and I went to the customers' homes to witness and notarize the documents. It was terrible, to put it mildly. The figures were not correct. The interest rates were extremely high. It broke my heart that these customers were not intellient enough not to sign these documents. They were just being taken advantage of by these mortgage companies. I have stopped notarizing these documents and attending these closings for this very reason.
