Hey David, once again you are right on! Yes, vendor management companies after their "one stop" pitch for convenience of offering appraisal, title, credit and flood certification then pitch their quick service through their vendors. Employees at these companies know they can and may be replaced. A 3% cut is hardly a boycott in my mind however, it certainly isn't fair to the abstractor. I wonder where they got the 3% from?
