Unless I missed something, I see no bashing or degrading of employees in any of the above posts. I think that it's understood that the employee making the calls is only carrying out assigned duties. I spoke to the person charged with making the calls and got the sense that it was a monumentally difficult task.
The decision as to whether to try to resist the further decline in prices or to perpetuate it is, I think, one that each business owner needs to weigh for him/herself. I believe that those who opt to sacrifice business in this pursuit will have done so having considered the cost.
