I remember the Reverend Ike being quoted as saying that the best thing you can do for the poor is not to become one of them. Maybe the same is true of the abstractors. Let the VM's run their course with on line searches, uninsured abstractors, inexperienced abstractors and lowball pricing. I agree that including other services is an excellent way to combat low ball pricing pressure. Hopefully a good number of missed items on the cheap title searches will come back to haunt them, and teach them the error of their ways. There is no lesson better learned than through the hard way.
