I'm not sure where the appraisers site came into this. I wasn't talking about the appraiser's site. But you are right, Texas allows law enforcement and some others to have their infomation declared confidential and removed from the appraiser's sites while foolishly allowing the County Clerk's to publish even more sensitive information about all taxpayers online.
Actually, Kurt, I believe it has already happened to you. Not that your identity has been stolen, or that you have been the victim of terrorists or stalkers. But the information they need about you has already been given to them. This is true of every citizen who lives in an online county. That information will never be returned now that it has been published online. This doesn't have to be true for your son.
The last link I left you in my last post is not to an appraisal site. It is to a foreign site advertising they provide searches into many if not most Florida Counties.
I believe, if other states follow the lead set by Florida, we will all see our personal and professional business exported overseas. The only place to prevent this, is at the local courthouse.
