Thanks David- it was Colin Powell's SS# - and I was only made aware of that through that lady's site- I have accessed the reference she gives away and that information is there-I know the counties are trying to make corrections to what was considered to be a requirement in the past- like the inclusion of SS#'s on docs, marriage certs, divorce proceedings etc-and that is a big undertaking to accomplish-not just with the systems, because they are direct copies of what is contained in the court houses, so everything will need to be "fixed". I do not know to what extent that will be possible, altering existing documents(land records) in any fashion is not allowed.
I do know I liked having that information available, like a SS# showing up on a marriage cert. just to cross reference any other objection that might have popped up- but now they have removed them from the marriage certs and that document now has very little use anymore when it comes to any titles I might do.
I included the link to that lady's site in a post before to Kurt- see that for what she is doing to shut down systems or promote id theft-depending on how you look at it.
Thanks again, Steve
