Actually, Angelica, this is a GENERAL DISCUSSION forum.
 
I would also like to point out that there is a distinct connection between the issue of illegal immigration and that of inexperienced abstractors undercutting our business.  As I noted above in my response to Kevin, these "fly-by-night" abstractors are the "illegal immigrants" of the title industry.  They accept lower fees in order to generate business for themselves.  In doing so, they take business from you and me and distort the market while producing a sub-standard work product.

The difference here is that no one is arguing that they are "doing work that more experienced abstractors won't do".
