I agree that technology is wonderful.... however, I know where Micheala works, some of our counties overlap and I used to go to some of the counties that she covers. One in particular is very rural, they still have horse tie-posts outside for the Amish! I don't know if she would be able to get a good enough signal on a cell phone for a mobile office to be of much use.
The other problem is that the clients want everything cheaper... if they are dropping us for a couple of dollars we can't afford to be investing so much in technology. If they expect us to be able to work miracles, they have to be willing to pay for it. Not to mention that if you have to stop at the courthouse to scan and fax an order from a mobile office, it cuts into the amount of work you can get done while they are open for business.
Just my opinion... and good luck to you Micheala. We have experienced some of the same problems. Probably from some of the same people. Arrrg... it is frustrating.
