I agree with your statement to an extent. I have seen the redaction software run and have seen the "teaching" method it has reviewing new documents, as with any software application there are bound to be flaws. I will tell you though, the applications I have seen are damn good and they can "learn" a document in a matter of seconds. Give a call sometime to Carol Foglesong in Orange County Florida, she is the Asst. Comptroller. Her office sent a fleet of examiners into their records to find unredacted documents when the redaction company was through, and after 15 days they found zero documents that were missed.
