Required licensing of the profession, including E&O insurance would be very beneficial. I think both the public and private sectors are way too far along to attempt to stop online title plants.

I also think the Title Underwriters need a wake up call. In the long run the Underwriters will pay for all these bad searches - and right now, they don't seem to care! Even though their losses are up substantially, and from what we see, it's only going to get worse.
