Paint whatever picture you want on this "price" thing. It will probably be construed as price fixing and actually hurt abstractors in the long run. I'm a PAC trustee for the North Coast Builder's Industry Association here in Cleveland. We have only 600 builders and associates. Those numbers did not stop me from testifying infront of a house subcommittee on title insurance reform. The numbers are less important than the unified voice. If you, (Wanda or Robert) would like for me to arrange a meeting with the NCBIA executive director, I can arrange that. He was a national lobbyist for NAHB and has taken the NCBIA to great levels.
