Those were exactly the cases to which I was referring. Just as the Plaintiffs in these cases were seeking a court order for access to the public records for their use and/or potential sale, the reverse is also true in other areas. Citizens acting individually or as a class can seek injunctive relief to prohibit the over publication of sensitive information by Town/County Clerks. I may be wrong, but wasn't one of your local clerks involved in such a suit.
