George, trust me, I know exactly what you mean.  What needs to happen is for us abstractors to start actually DOING something rather than just complain constantly.

As I said below in my post to Kurt deVries, I'm doing my part at the "grass-roots" level to get the word out about NALTEA to title searchers and abstractors all across southwestern PA.  I urge my fellow members of NALTEA to do the same in their respective coverage areas.

It takes two seconds to hand someone a flyer; it takes a lot longer than that to sit around and gripe about how nothing in this industry ever changes.  NALTEA has the potential to accomplish great things, but it needs more members in its ranks to do so.  As the saying goes, there's a safety in numbers.

Although, excessive consumption of adult beverages is looking more and more attractive these days, lol!
