Very interesting points you raise, Jeanne.  You certainly seem to have a firm grasp on the issues involved.

I have to wonder, however, if any industry insiders will be consulted when Congress sits down to craft legislation to address these problems.  Most of the time, these legislators don't even bother to read the text of the bills they are asked to vote on.
