I believe many of the title agencies are in trouble Mason. I have had similar conversations with many of them. I'm not sure about Infinity but I can tell you that ESS (Bangalore, India) is a member of the American Land Title Association. In my opinion, ALTA has abandoned all but a few of their largest members.

Like many us, many of our clients thought at first that Internet access would provide a more efficient way to complete orders. Few of us seemed to have realized that it would turn out to be the ONLY way the work, our business, and the security of our clients could be so easily taken.

The unexpected results of  putting the records online and making them instantly accessible to anyone in the world is proving to be a tragic mistake for everyone except international document traffickers.

It is a mistake that can and is being corrected all across the country. Counties that first made this mistake are being forced by their constituents to remove the documents.Legislation and lawsuits are dealing with the wrongful transfer in bulk of our sensitive data.

In the end, America MUST win this battle for control of OUR records.
