Thank you so much Wanda for your input. I respect you incredibly because I know that you have the knowledge and the background to understand what all this could entail. I started researching the States already, and am finding that it can be a daunting task...and an attorney's opinion or of someone with the expertise to understand what may or may not be required in the different states would be invaluable. There are states that simply require paying a fee for licensing of a minimal amount (like Delaware) - most require that an entity be licensed in a "home state". I wish that everyone would communicate their ideas - whether they are positive or negative because its important to know the feedback and loopholes that may be out there. One person's statement could put an end to this thread ~ (and any further investigation on my part into licensing :) As an abstractor/examiner, I find the escrow part really frightening. And that, I believe, is where the weak link may be. As has been stated in a previous conference I attended - we only know each other thru discussions here online and not personally. I hope that more people will respond with their thoughts on this whole idea.
