Ellen, This is truly an innovative idea to nationalize the local abstractors through an organization suchas NALTEA. However, I am confused  Are you sugesting that we become an title insurance underwriter or to get an underwriter to issue policies?

I can envision a wonderful association of individuals working together to provide our numerous services to clients. 

As an aside,  what Congressional committee is holding the title insurance hearings.  We should all band together and voice our displeasure to our Senators, Congresspersons and committee members on the same date and time via email.  Just bombard them with a flood of discontent.
