Dear Kevin - if you are concern about the thoughts abstractors may have about your company regarding these guidelines, perhaps instead of just talking to Cindy you could let everyone know them because in essence if you do not everyone here will be left with a "bad taste in their mouth."
This is to all companies about asking for more of anything. In order for me to get you something that was not ordered in the first place this is what I have to do - talk to you on the phone, or accept and read the email or fax that was sent, go to the individual county - either pull out a hardback book and copy it page by page, a microfilm tape and copy it page by page, or go to the computer and search and find the document and tell it to print, go get a clerk to tell it to print off their computer, pay the clerk, go back to my office, revise the invoice that was sent to you to reflect more copy fees, print it out, scan the doc and revised invoice and email or fax it and fax it to you. My question is - would you do that for free? Our fees are rock-bottom to begin with.
