I have been following this thread with interest. I have to say that I agree with Wendi. You should not be ordering work from abstractors if you lack the ability to pay them within a reasonable period of time. There is no reason for them to wait for payment while you straighten out your billing problems with your clients. They rendered services in a timely manner. Slow pay clients are only one step above no pay clients.
