     Kudos for you for doing the nice and right thing, even if the lady was unappreciative.  Don't stop trying to do the right thing.  I can only hope there are more appreciative people out there than not.
     I have had now 3 different employees start their own abstract business after I have brought them into the industry and trained them.  I have to look at the other 20 plus employees who appreciate the salary, dental and life insurance, the fully company paid (for the employee) 100% coverage, no deductable health insurance and mileage paid.  The current employees are the ones who keep me going everyday and continually trying to do the right thing.
