I'm not going to accept the work.  I will politely decline as I have a few times when a company wanted unrealistic things from me (price, turn around time, extra info for the same money, etc).  I just wanted to see the packet and read what they wanted from an abstractor.  I can't say FOR CERTAIN the gentleman I spoke with was ACTUALLY IN India, but as I told Kevin in my private email to him--either he was in India or he just got off the boat:) 

I replied to Robert's post because I had intended to decline their offer because of the reason I stated above, but his post made me see even ANOTHER reason not to do work for them.  He was ABSOLUTELY correct!

The rest of your post I didn't really understand--not because you weren't clear just because it obviously had historical issues from before my time on SOT.
