Hey Scott,
I used to keep the S*** list and about two and a half years ago and I discontinued keeping it and passing it along.

Here is my message from 1-13-2004

"After several discussions with different individuals and sources, I have decided I will no longer keep nor distribute the S*** list. There is no way to verify the information that is on the list, nor confirm or contact the companies listed. I have numerous companies on the list that I already do business with and have never had a problem with collecting my fees. The adding of company names to the list without any type of verification is unfair and unwarrented. I believe without verification, personnal feelings can interfer with business ethics and responsibilities."

I believe that posting such a list could result in some liability to the poster, but it would be best to check with an attorney.  I would have all my facts straight first."

Continued discussion on the general forum or through private e-mails would be best.

JMHO

Jay
