I believe the online system in the biggest county here has been up and running for about 8-9 years. In that time the system has been working fine except for one virus a long time ago that shut down everything for a few day, but it has worked fine-If something was going to happen, it surely would have already happened, and I do not see anything so far that has or will be any sort of competition to doing full titles, just no way around it here.I do not want to get into an argument about how our land records work out here vs. yours,you know yours and how to work with it, I do not know yours and therefore will not work with it- But I do know the ones I work in and know they can not be used by bulk buying of the docs,if that has even occurred, I know there is a lot of talk saying so, but no proof yet, and once they have a pile of docs, what are they going to do with it? Our land records are maintained by owner here, not by parcel id, so in order to do a title, you have to know each owner and run them in the respective indexes for the period of time they own the property. So you see a pile of papers does no good when doing titles this way.
