I thought you would like to know that many Virginia records are allready being accessed from many thousands of miles outside Virginia. In fact this company seems to be enjoing the same ease and convenience you are. The Company is ESS and they are offering  searches that range from judgement and lien searches to two owner searches in Farifax, Loudon, Prince William and Warren Counties.

They may have gained access legitimately from the county, or they may have bought the records in bulk, or they may have bought a password from a local subscriber. You may want to check this out.
