Hi, Glenda!
I'm not from Tennessee, but my mom is from Knoxville and my daddy was from Oak Ridge, so I guess you could say I was brought up with traditional "southern" values. I wasn't trying to be cute or anything when I made that reference to Tom Sawyer, I just don't understand why a company would want me to pay them a $2.00 fee for the privilege of working for them. Why wouldn't you just charge them $63.00 for a search?
That's why I don't like the concept of rebates. Why can't I just buy the product at a reduced price and forget all that nonsense? So, you see, Glenda, I was criticizing the company you're doing work for, not you, per se. I've been in this business for a few years, just as you have, and this is the first time I've ever heard of that practice, but if it works for you, who am I to argue?
Regards,
Scott Perry
