Is anybody really still offering "Volume Discounts" to clients?  I don't have any clients anymore that fall into our old criteria for a Volume Discount.

We offered discount on 10 or more orders per day in "any" county we service.  We used to get that in Franklin County, Ohio alone, now I'm lucky to get 3 a day there from all 85 of my clients.

I like the idea of making a change to our pricing and offering coupons or discounts to a client seems a better route today.

I was thinking, order 10 in 1 day and you only pay for 9.  It instills the same "Volume Discount" pricing but if they only order 8 that day, they pay the higher price.

Just something I've been throwing around, I guess it will work if I can find any client that still has the volume to even give me 10 a day in the 150 counties we service.  They're not as plentiful as a few years back.
