OH! Old George Again - Kevin Ahern/CT
7/11/2006 1:32:55 PM (4063 views)

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Been away for a few days.

Is the above really the most valuable contribituion to this conversation that you can make? I really do not care what opininion you hold of attorneys, but if you truely intend to pursue the role of "Clown Prince of Comedy" on SOT you really need to hire someone to write some new material. The above jokes are dated and stale beyond their shelf life. Bore me if you must, but please spare me any more of the corny outdated jokes.

In so far as your alternative letter is concerned, do you really think that it addressed the concerns of Ricky Farrow. While providing several of the abstractors with a good laugh, it was little more than a poor parody of the concerns expressed in his posting. He apparently was having a hard time with a client, and was seeking some input in the matter.  Did those of you who were "rolling on the floor" with laughter ever stop to consider his concerns? I do not seem to see any positive input in the matter from you.

The point I was trying to make in my earlier post was that crying on a VM's shoulder about past business dealings carries no weight because the VM's no longer wish to pursue those procedures. It is far more effective to find a way to carve out a sector of the market  for yourself, and use the law to effectively protect yourself and your market share.

By the way, George, I am going to continue breathing the same air as you. Somehow I think that both I and my fellow attorneys will survive.
