Wow... from all of these posts, it is not hard to figure out where all the money is to be made in this business.  I guess you sell someone else's work, without paying them for it.  That is what I would call a stellar profit margin!

I wonder what would happen in the retail world if someone were to try that?  Imagine if Wal-Mart decided to tell all of their suppliers that they weren't going to pay them for merchandise for 45 days, yet they keep ordering new merchandise and they never pay for it.  We would probably see all kinds of lawsuits and Wal-Mart would likely go out of business.  Though, they would make an insane profit for a couple of months.

For some reason... abstractors just keep doing the work.  If not the same ones, new ones are always there waiting for the business.  Sad to see this happen to so many good people.  Jail is too good for those who take advantage of people in this manner.
