Does the phrase “politics of science” mean anything to you?
Darwin was embarrassed by the fossil record, because it contained no proof of macroevolution of animals. All of the diverse, fundamental kinds of animals appear abruptly and fully functional in the strata, with no proof of ancestors. According to paleontologist and evolutionist David Kitts, “Evolution requires intermediate forms between the species and paleontology does not provide them.” So it would appear that the fossil record does not provide evidence of evolution as previously thought.
Scientists see the evidence for creation clearly, but political correctness, financial considerations and the need to “save face” compels them to look the other way and insist that such evidence doesn’t exist. A lot of people have a vested interest in ignoring the elephant in the room.
