I feel that developing a set of "Abstracting Standards" for NALTEA is a great idea, I'd love to see it happen.  However as we've seen through the various postings on SOT, there are so many differences from state to state as to the laws that effect title and the methods of title searching.  Either the standards would have to be VERY broad, or they would have to be State specific, which of course would require input from NALTEA members from each state and/or review of State Laws.  Are there enough members willing to work together on this project to make it achievable?
