Scripture is far more powerful than fairy tales.  I can't help but notice that you chose to ignore the fact that the Bible has never been proven wrong.  I am further constrained to point out that evolution was de-bunked as a cogent scientific theory long ago, yet is still taught as fact.  My dad summed it up best when he said, "If we came from monkeys, then how come we still got monkeys?"

Just because someone is a priest doesn't mean he's infallible.  That's what I love most about this great nation of ours...everyone has the right to be wrong.
