Well with all that know how and material why are we still chasing Bin Ladin from one cave after another for the past 5 years, have not managed to set up a stable government in Iraq, can not seem to gain acceptance by the Islamic world and can not seem to gather intelligence effectively? 

1.  we didn't take Bin Laden seriously and allowed him years to plan and plot and create effective hiddie holes to escape to.  Also the area he is most certainly hiding in is inhabited by a Muslim sect that provides aid to ANYONE who requests it.  One they supply aid to turn him in would be akin to an unforgiveable sin.

2.  we haven't set up a stable gov in Iraq because those playing politics won't let the job get done right--it might offend France's sensibilities.

3.  we will NEVER gain acceptance in the Islamic world and anyone who believes it is possible is a fool.  Their religion demands that all the world convert or die.

4.  and the intel problem is laid directly at the feet of the democrats--they GUTTED the HUMINT sections of the CIA.  Somehow they thought we'd be able to read Bin Laden's lips from space from a satellite.  Idiots!
