I think too many people forget that we fought two superpowers during WWII, at a time when the U.S. military had outdated planes from WWI and the 20's, and not much of a Navy. And we were still feeling the Depression. But we managed to come out on top, correct?

Today, our military has cutting edge technology, unmatched air superiority, and the largest carrier fleet in the world.The question is, if these scenarios did actually play out, would we use our full military capabilities, or hold back due to political squabbles and media negativity?
