This whole thread makes me think of the my Military days... the very best officers we had were prior enlisted. The worst were the blissfully ignorant right out of the academy. I had an ensign tell me one night I was tracking a Helo and was going to write me up for not alerting him as he was the wacth officer. Had to have my chief come over and pull the young lad aside and advise him what he was looking at was a cloud. Furthermore the 2 million dollars in training I received on that piece of equipment kind of made me the expert in that given situation.

Kevin, with all that you've said I find your comments disturbing only in the thinking that your years of lawschool makes you flawless. Your claim is along the lines that you've never made a mistake. That in itself is dangerous, especially in this business. Being an attorney doesn't make you somehow have a greater attention to detail. It may, by your own words, make you have more to lose, but it doesn't give you some sort of special gift.

Your education is commendable but it doesn't make you infallible. You are, believe it or not, human so you will make a mistake. I imagine you already have but your shroud of arrogance has possibly blinded you to that fact. I will take common sense and humility over any degree every day and twice Sunday.
