As an evening student, I am in a four year legal program and we do have to go straight through the summers for the first two years to finish on schedule. I would have to say that speeding that up would be incredibly difficult. I expected law school to be a lot of work - but I really underestimated the amount of work involved.
Finishing law school in two years? Well... I don't think I could do it (even if I weren't working). I have been maintaining a 3.76 GPA so far and I have struggled to keep up with the pace of classes at times. It is a huge amount of information and some of the issues are very complicated. It takes time to absorb it all.
While I disagree with Kevin on his "zero tolerance" policy, I do have to agree with him about law school. You just can't fully understand it until you have been there. The first year has really changed my perception of things.
Best,
Robert A. Franco
