Perhaps I am an anomaly. I would like to think not. Among the attorneys with whom I associate..none of them seem to have had any claims. Guess we are a little more careful than the lay abstractors.
In so far as real estate law is concerned, the law schools generally offer a number of courses. There is usually a survey course initially for one semester (15 weeks). There are also usually advanced courses that the law students can pursue depending upon how deeply they wish to delve.
In terms of an attorney's interpretation of the law is concerned...that is why we have courts. So far there has been no problem with my interpretations of the law. However, walking into a court room is like walking into a casino. You do your research, and roll the dice. There is always compromise..the court favors it. Any day you walk out of a court room with more than your entered with...you are ahead of the game.
