Hi, Lisa     One of the major problems inexperienced abstractors may have, is in the drawing up of deeds. I constantly run into deeds that read  " Beginning at so-and-so's rock wall (I actually had a better one---beginning at the south west corner of so-and-so's dory), thence going ELY so many rods". How can a mapping "tool" differentiate the 89, or so,  degree difference between E (which should be true East) and Easterly? Does Texas have the half-assed deed calls as we Mainers??    Monica
