I don't know if you all realized just how much travel was costing for those of us that worked relatively in a small environment.  With the company I signed the contract with, the county I travel to I am reimbursed approximately $60.00 a day (based on the current mileage allotted by IRS) to travel to one of my counties that was part of my abstracting business.  Now I am trying to figure out how I ever thought I made money in that county over and above the cost of travel - I don't think I was actually paid for my time unless it was a project on an hourly rate that included travel time - I think there were times that I might have actually lost money.  Have you all sat down and put the average dollar amount of orders you receive for each county for each time travelled and actually reduced your travel expenses according to IRS mileage allottment to see what was left?
