I have to say I'm very intrigued by this thread. We been doing alot of rural land lately that is cut from larger tracts and the plats on file have been vague to say the least. But until now, I've just been reporting/copying what is on file and letting the attorney sort it out. I think my clients would be pleased beyond measure if I presented them with data on what the land really should look like.
So, can someone explain how mapping tools helps an abstractor? And what tools do you use?
