Hi Anna,

That is a very keen observation and I wanted to let everyone know that NALTEA is working on putting together some very low-cost, and informal regional gatherings to help bring local abstractors together.  As a test, NALTEA has been working with Jan Forster in North Carolina.  Jan approached the board with the idea of holding a "Title Camp" and we are all very excited about it.

Basically, Title Camp will give local abstractors the chance to build networks and discuss challenges that affect them locally.  It will also be a excellent opportunity for more abstractors who are unable to attend NALTEA's national conferences to learn more about the national organization and help address those issues which are beyond their local reach.

The details are still being worked out, but the first Title Camp is being planned for October 21 in the Myrtle Beach, NC area.  Jan is organizing it with some assistance from NALTEA and if everything goes well I'm sure NALTEA will work with others to expand the Title Camp concept across the country.

More information will be formally presented soon.  We will keep you all posted.

Best,
Robert A. Franco
