Thank you, George, for having the courage to say what needed to be said.  My business has suffered nearly to the point of extinction for speaking out on privacy issues and outsourcing.  So be it.  I took a stand.  

If there have been any letters sent out to NC re the online record campaign, I'm not aware of it.  I don't fault people who have kids in school and mortgages to pay who are afraid of losing what little business is left, but I was more than happy to sign my name to anything, leaving their title business intact.

What's that saying about '..good men doing nothing'? The abstracting community is as much to blame for their demise as anyone.
