Robert,
I don't think that I explained myself well here, I'm saying that if someone works for a specific underwrtiter and a family member of that person is a searcher and that underwriter insures for a specific title company, can that person offer the title company a "kickback" or a "break" on the condition that the title company must use that person's realtive or else the title company doesn't see the work?
Or...even this how do you compete when an underwriter is using the new guidelines that you must be an approved XYZ searcher and if you aren't then you don't get their work?
Here in NJ we have these things (along with the normal pricing issues) to contend with...I have spent 15+ years in the industry and wonder at this point with things like this going on how much longer some of us will survive.
