Hi I'm Saundra. When the title company failed to include my fee for copies, I call the company and ask who writes the checks for the abstractors. They gave me her name, and I talk personally with her to let her know that the company sent me a check for the search amounty only, and the company still owes me for my copies. She asked me for the file number which I gave her and she checked it out and fowarded me my fee. When you submit your fee, make sure you specify search fee and copies fee and write one total. It worked for me, the person who works in the accounting office was very nice. Just keep a profession profile when you talk to the accounting department or who ever cuts the checks. I don't know of one title company who wants to lost a great abstractor over copy money.
Solve the problem,
Saundra
