It has always my thought that no one really has a client stolen. If they leave you to get a lower fee----they were not worth the effort in the first place. If they leave for other reasons----then you lost them , they were not stolen.
I have had many clients come and go throughout the years. I always try to call to find out the reason for the loss in business. If there is something I can do (aside from lowering my fees), I will work with them. If not, I probably fret over it a bit----then I move on & concentrate on the clients that I have.
